Clearing Image Cache

New MessageClearing Image Cache (modified 0 times) vastari

I just wrote a nice perl script to display images resized for the Audrey. Unfortunately, when I try to actually use this, I keep getting "Image Cache Full" browser errors. I've cleared the cache using the browser options, but still keep getting this message. Any ideas on getting this to work?

You may have to actually delete the cache files yourself or make the cache size larger. Are you using Browser or voyager?

I'm using the default browser right now. Anyone know where the cache is stored? Moreover, if it uses the Audrey filesystem, could I point them to use my shared drive?

All Browser configuration files are stored in the /config directory. Names of the files are self explanatory. The cache currently will be in /tmp. A simple hard reboot should clear the cache. You can change the cache to your share if you want.
I wonder about your Perl script. Are you using it in Audrey and have you installed Perl? If not you can do that on your share too and link the dir/files in Audrey.
