There is a new standalone mail program for QNX. I haven't put it on my audrey yet, but the author did compile a 6.0 version so it might just work. Take a look

Just a follow up, phpostal works great on the audrey. it handles attachments and images.

Ok. Davinci. Refresh our memory. Can you give a quick synopsis of where to put it, how to make it work on audrey. This does look VERY nice compared to stock app for email.

This is a fantastic app for Audrey. At this time however both version 6.0 and 6.1 crash as soon as I try to read mail.(core dumped on RTP and Audrey).
Hope they get it right soon.

humm. I just checked mail, I didn't actually try to read any. I'll have to give it a whirl tonight. I think the program reads HTML email, so it may be looking for some parser, or a little more robust library than the audrey has available. Have you tried running this on a desktop installation of 6.0? If so, and it still dumps, you might want to send of a bug report via the link on the authors site.

I did all that and the maker of this app is extremely cooperative, however he has no Audrey..
At this time I try to work with a special compiled and hacked version that is supposed to work with Audrey's touch screen.It is compiled for the environment of the QNX 6.0 RTP and my main problem is to change the HOME when phPostal runs.HOME should be /root
Whatever I try I cannot convince phPostal to use /root as the HOME dir.Who can help to set HOME to /root in Audrey?
