When I cat my image to the CF card it takes about 20-30 seconds. This is a lot shorter than the 2 to 3 minutes advertised on several threads. When I cat to a network share it takes a lot longer. I checked my image on the CF by putting it in the Audrey and holding datebook down while I powered the unit up it came up with no errors. Is anyone elses seeing this same type of behavior?
Yeah mine is the same.. never really timed it but it is fairly quick to cat the filesystem to CF. It takes much longer to flash the Audrey from the CF. If you hold the datebook button on bootup with a CF card without a valid image it will not boot after a minute or so after the Loading from Compact Flash message (mine just sits with a blank screen).
