running java applets in voyager?

New Messagerunning java applets in voyager? (modified 0 times) wambs

Hi,

I have read some of the other posts on running java applets in the voyager. But, I never did see any indication whether it worked or not. I have voyager working on my audrey, but I can't run the java plug-ins. I have j9 download and nfs linked from my audrey. I noticed that two libs from qnx 6.1 are needed, libm and libsocket. Are these needed to run stand alone j9 or within a browser. Also, there seems to multiple platform version of these in qnx6.1, but its not clear to me which one I need. I see the x86 version, but the audrey is not x86, its Geo.. something, right.

I wish we could Linux working on this platform, there would be a lot of appls available then. Well, at least some small applications. Oh Well. Maybe if we could somehow get the specs from 3com. They sure fon't have any use for them anymore.

There has been only limited success with very simple Java sample apps. No one has gotten java to work as a voyager plugin.
