Hi,

I could not stop it! Resistents was futile!! I dis-assembled one of my audrey's. I wanted to see the insides. While I was at it, I decided to decode the memory chip info. Any one have detail knowledge of memory?

There are four memory chips, on one side of the circuit board. The number is HY57v651620B TC-7 A. It's a hynix chip.

HY57v651620B TC-7 A

HY : memory product
57 : SDRAM
V : CMOS, 3.3V
65 : 64M bits, 4K Ref.
16 : x16 (data width)
2 : 4Bank
0 : LVTTL
B : 3rd Generation
" ": normal power (note " " is a blank/space)
TC : 400mil TSOPII
7 : 7ns(143MHz)

I don't know what the A at the end is.

The link below is the decoding PDF.

good stuff! I have to admit i have had wild dreams of ri;ping the memory chips off the board and replacing them with larger, faster ones. I think there could be a market for upgraded audres with 256 Mb ram and 128 Mb flash storage.
