Apologies if this has already been covered elseware (tried to find it but could not).
The Audrey is missing a number of unix commands/function that I kind fo like (grep, find etc etc). I an a mid level Unix user, enough to miss these, but not sophisticated enough to be able to compile these for the Audrey platform. Is there a public repository where I can get the missing unix functions etc, comiled for Audrey (running 6.0)? I assume if I could get these I could put them on a shared PC Drive and modify my path to include the share.
Easiest way to do that would be to do an Install of QNX RTOS v6.0 or 6.1 on a networked computer with windows. Since it will detect the windows partition during install and mount it on bootup at /fs/hd0-dos/, you can copy all of the relevent QNX directories to a windows folder which you then can share. Audrey can then use most of the standard commands you are used to after mounting that share. If you use the 6.1 RTOS then you will need to copy /proc/boot/libc.so.2 from the qnx 6.1 folders to Audrey's folder /ntos/lib then create a symbolic link to it 'ln -sP /nto/lib/libc.so.2 /usr/lib/ldqnx.so.2'. You can then mount using fs-cifs.
Hope this helps.
