Will installing Java J9 allow Java applets called from the browser to run? For example, when I hit a website which hosts a Java app, will I be able to run it from the Audrey? Or is J9 strictly for developing your own little Java apps?
A lot of effort was put into getting the j9 browser plugin to work without success. J9 itself will run, but just barely. Don't count on being able to do too much with it, Audrey just doesn't have the resources.
