Updating the keyboard

I downloaded the file audrey.kbd and put it on my ftp

How do I ftp it over to /nto/photon/keyboard/en_US_101.kbd. ?

I've heard to many stories of peoples Audreys dying so I'm not sure if this is what to do
Can someone tell me if the following steps are correct?

start shell

1. cd /nto/photon/keyboard/en_US_101.kbd. (including the period?)

2. ftp

3. open xx.xxx.xx.xx (ftp address)

4. username

5. password

6. binary

7. get audrey.kbd

8. bye

9. Run 'shutdown' or reboot the audrey in your favorite manner.

just
cd /nto/photon/keyboard/ (no "." and do not include en_US_101.kbd)

then download the file audrey.kbd
then you need to rename it to en_US_101.kbd
so after the file is downloaded do this...

cp en_US_101.kbd en_US_101.old.kbd (copys the current kbd to a backup)
cp audrey.kbd en_US_101.kbd (copys updated kbd to en_US_101.kbd)
shutdown (reboots audrey)

thanks booya, that worked great. Does the updated keyboard's go back command (shift+backspace) not work for anyone else in the channel knob websites? That's the sole reason I did the update. Is there a way to get this shortcut to work?

Yeah shift backspace does not work in channels and they never did with the upgrade or with out. Its to bad but I think the reason is because the Channels were designed for basic page viewing. They probably didn't even have links to click. Anyways I think you lose other shift hotkey features with the upgrade as well. I did the keyboard upgrade once just to get CTRL-C capability, but I changed it back to get the one button copy and paste feature (my wife finds that easier than ^C and ^V). I rarley use pterm on the Audrey anymore since telnet from a real PC is much easier :) If you made the backup copy just cp that back over en_US_101.kbd and reboot.
