| Maybe the USB stuff wouldn't be of much help to me, but I'm sure others might find it useful. Still, I imagine there are plenty of useful things out there I could run without a total image flash. When I say that a central repository would be a good idea, I guess what I'm looking for is simple add-ons, but it could also be more complex things. I've found some really good ones by searching around - like an on-screen keyboard and the ACID program, and the info you need for adding shell and shutdown - that are well packaged and easy to install without having to flash the system, but you still have to get lucky and find them in different spots. I'm also still having mixed success with getting a USB keyboard to work on my Audrey, which requires libc.so.2, devu-ohci, and devu-kbd from 6.1, devi-hirun from 6.0, libusbdi.so.2 and devn-klsi.so... Which I was able to find by downloading the 6.0 and 6.1 ISO images, installing them and grabbing the files... Basically it just seems like all of this running around finding files could be made alot more organized with a central repository. | |
