In either version of my images it would run crippled: no use of buttons in the other 8 desktops, since Backdrop doesn't support this feature. The same goes if you add the RTP background manager. So this is currently of no use.
I may change my version USB1 in the future into a real network version that runs the whole RTP 6.0 and/or 6.1 on Audrey and without any buttons, except power on/off.
However I need more feedback about the USB version before I can go any further. My guess is I have an IO overlap there with USB support and one or more of the kojak libs that do the screen handling and those libs are unique and cannot be replaced. However if this is the case they can be hacked to load on a different IO address, more specific I believe devf-kojak causes problems.
Another solution might be to upgrade all other libs that handle the screen to RTP version 6.0 or 6.1. I'll have to find out and hope for some more support here.
After resolving this screen problem (btw the screen slows down somewhat, it's not a major issue if you want to use the USB features) I certainly will implement the multiple desktops fully working in that version, it belongs there.
In the meantime if you want to experiment with this feature you can enable worldview.so as a plugin in shelf yourself, remove the CPU monitor and it will look fine.
For version 3-1 you can also rename /nto/photon/.ph/shelf/shelf.cfg to .old and download (hold shift) http://www.prins.net/audrey/shelf.cfg and "Save as" /nto/photon/.ph/shelf/shelf.cfg and reboot.
Any changes you made in shelf are gone but you can restore the old shelf again by deleting my new shelf.cfg and renaming shelf.cfg.old in shelf.cfg, reboot anf you're back.
