First off, I have to say how happy I am to have found this place, it's just chocked full of great-info. I'm not a hacker... yet, but I love to modify things (mostly Vdubs, but that's niether here nor there). Audrey will be my first step into hacking in general.
Now.. I know there have been alot of recent threads about people having trouble updating, etc, but I havn't seen my problem come up yet, if it has forgive me, (I'm a newbie) so here's the story:
I have a UBID Audrey that was shipped to me already updated to FINAL 4/23/2001, plus it also had the previous owners info in it, including credit card (not smart).....so much for being "refurbished".
Anyway, I reset it, blah, blah... it runs great can't complain, etc.
Now, the problem is I can't get shell!! The dns spoofing works just fine, because 3com.mrimba.net does in fact resolve to artoo (I checked through audrey's browser).
I tried just setting the time update..... nothing, but I know she tried. So I decided to do the TFS, and I get "THE WAS ERROR UPDATE AUDREY'S FILES"! I tried it a couple times... same deal
Anybody have this happen before?? Will I have to flash it to get shell???

FYI, I'm connected through the usb to a Belkin wireless router.
