Done. My jukebox "Audrey Repository is ready. Check it out here: http://www.prins.net/audrey/downloads.html
Please give me feedback about this new feature to upgrade your Audrey.

At this time Saturday 15:00 hours I cannot access the Date & Time server we all use with my images. Probably maintenance and it could come back. Or they are sick and tired of all our requests and closed access for good for us. Time will tell.

jukebox,

The "Audrey Repository" ROCKS!
One suggestion that I might make is perhaps you could put a shot description of what each file is used for.
Most of us know what they are for but I think people new to the whole Audrey thing would not have a clue what the files are for.
I am new to this myself but thanks to all of you that take the time to help I've quickly gotten up to speed. Thanks again for all your hard work.

DUHHHH....
Nevermind, I see where you have the file descriptions.
I got so excited about downloading that I didn't look further down the page.
Sorry

I've changed a lot of the information on my web site, updates, downloads etc. and also trying to explain a couple of things more clearly.
If you have visited these pages already lately you'll have to press reload or delete your cache, as I had to do to review the changes.

Your Repository is great! Thanks for all the hard work. I am using
3.0 but will download 3.1 and try it out. One thing that would probably
be helpful is explaining on the Repository, why you would want one
of the downloads vs another. Like what is the difference between
images or who would want which image. I for one, am a bit sketchy
on what the USB1 image does that 3.1 does not do.

Thanks,
Mark

jukebox,
I can't seem to get shelf.cfg to work.
I put shelf.3-1 in /nto/photon/.ph/shelf then renamed it to shelf.cfg (renamed shelf.cfg to shelf.old)
I've tried to update 3 and all I get is the desktop no shelf
I tried downloading 3-1 and updating that and same results. Is there something I'm missing?
thanks
mumbus

mumbus,
Have you done the reboot? It will not work just after the download. Let me know. Can you check with FileManager that you actually have a shelf.cfg now in the directory where it belongs that's 3275 bytes in size?
I downloaded the files over the existing ones and that seemed to work after a reboot. Please work with me to make this work.
Let me know about the reboot and what you see with FileManager I hope others where it did work without a problem will let us know too here.

Mumbus,
I can set the shelf from USB1 on version 3-1 but not the right version. I believe the file is corrupted, should be around 5k instead of 3k..
Let me make a new one, now I lost the original and I will upload a good file.
Sorry.. In the meantime would be nice if you could confirm that shelf.usb1 does work for you on V.3-1. In an hour you'll get the right one for V.3-1.

jukebox,
ok, I tried shelf.usb1 on v.3, worked fine first shot.
What is the box above terminal? Whatever I touch on the screen shows up in that box magnified.

OK Mumbus, done. Download shelf.3-1 again and it will work. There is a first for everything here and I never had a corrupted file before..
Please confirm the new 3-1 works for you.

The box above terminal magnifies everything you touch on screen. Was a little bit dull with nothing. If you don't like it remove it from shelf in Shelf.Cfg in the wm pop-up menu.

Jukebox,
I'll try 3-1 again right now.
I downloaded shutdown & that worked fine. I can't seem to get password to keep my new password, it remains root, but I really didn't fool with it I just ran it once and it didn't seem to work for me.
I'll be back in a couple minutes to let you know if 3-1 works for me.

ok...seems to be working fine now, thanks.
I notice there are some things missing such as networking and shelf config, I will add them myself but just wondering why they were left out.

Shelf.Cfg is in the wm popup menu now. That way you can configure the opening screen much easier from shelf.
Networking you ask? Isn't that in ActionPalette in V3-1? Or am I missing something now. Maintaining 3 images is confusing. Let me know.
And about he password, I don't know what it does. The hack was from hw_irq I believe, maybe he knows.
Thanks for working this out with me.

I added these downloads to my Audrey Repository here: http://www.prins.net/audrey/downloads.html

Version USB1-1

Always hold Shift when downloading with voyager.

Download Browser.sh for voyager to open full screen with its button. "Save as" Browser.sh in /kojak
Download a mirror of shelf for left handed people here and "Save as" shelf.cfg in /nto/photon/.ph/shelf

Take full advantage of the networking capabilities in this image by downloading your script choice, instead of editing them.
"Save as" networkUSB.sh in /kojak, press Config/Use USB twice and reboot for the change to take effect. See the manual how
to activate qnet.

To restore , download klsi on tiny stack
Download klsi on full stack
Download klsi on full stack with pppoe
Download pegasus on tiny stack
Download pegasus on full stack
Download pegasus on full stack with pppoe

Before you can use pppoe download these 2 files first before you reboot:

npm-pppoe.so and "Save as" npm.pppoe.so in /.cmp/nto/photon/dll
pppoed and "Save as" pppoed in /.cmp/nto/bin

To have the full advantage of the full stack use /nto/photon/mount, ifconfig and:

Download netstat and "Save as" netstat in /.cmp/nto/bin

Use these two utilities in addition to nice and renice:

Download find and "Save as" find in /.cmp/nto/bin
Download grep and "Save as" grep in /.cmp/nto/bin

This one is espacially for the users of "Audrey on Steroids". Check under version 1-1 in my Audrey Repository.
I forgot to include fs-cifs for the windows share. Maintaining 3 images is not as esay as it looks..

Download fs-cifs from my Audrey Repository: http://www.prins.net/audrey/downloads.html
You may as well download phMp3 too. Both files are compressed already. Follow the easy instructions and you're all set. More downloads coming soon!

Recently I started to make compressed files available for download. You save them in /.cmp/.. wherever they have to go and they will appear too in their regular directory, the same as where you saved but without the /.cmp
There, in their regular directory, you have to make them executable again with chmod +x in terminal or they won't work ofcourse (Permission denied).
No pain no gain.

I have made suicidal's hack available for download to enable Audrey for MP3 play.
Also you have a choice for MediaPlayer (phplay) and MP3 Player (phMp3) to actually play MP3 files. Please note MediaPlayer will also act as a plugin for voyager.
To enable Audrey for MP3 you download 5 files and you have to chmod +x them all. Directions should be pretty clear.
Would be nice to get some feedabck to know how this works and what difficulties you have if any at all.
Everybody can be a hacker!

I added RealPlayer as a download too. For a basic installation you download the executable only. Follow the directions and Realplayer works as a stand alone app and a plugin in voyager.
I downloaded all the new files in the latest image, V.1-1 and everyhting works. However the compression of the files may have gone lost in the process. The worst that can happen is you have to use cmp to compress the files in the files in /.cmp/.. wherever they are. Let me know how you go.
