I've been using War FTP to get files with no problem, but I can't seem to get the syntax right to PUT a file from Audrey to my PC. If I want to PUT a file named TEST.wav from Audrey to a directory on my PC named C:/Audrey, what would be the exact syntax of the PUT command.
should do it. If that's not working, its probably a configuration issue and not a problem with command syntax. War FTP may not be configured to allow uploads, or it may be configured to allow uploads only to a certain directory. What error are you getting?
you want to type-> put filename
example.
put /kojak/snd/test.wav
this will attempt to put the file to your server. If this is not working you may not have the permissions setup properly on the server to allow the upload.

if it's not a WarFTP protection problem, this may work:
# cd /photon/bin (or wherever the file to upload resides on Audrey)
# ftp 192.168.1.XXX (or whatever address/name your WarFTP server has)
ftp> cd C:\Audrey
ftp> bin
ftp> put TEST.wav
ftp> close
ftp> quit
