Help - Infinity Shelf questions

a couple of quick questions:

1. Can the 'start' be on the Right. I'm actually Left handed, but all the scroll bars are on the Right and with the 'start' on the Left, there's a lot of stylus hand swapping. (if the scroll bars where on Left, a perfect world....stylus in Left hand, push buttons with Right hand, but I'm not holding my breath)

2. Is the shelf supposed to be open all the time. I tried unchecking the 'shelf Open' and it did auto-hide, but it's difficult to get it to pop back up somethimes. Any thoughts?

On my Audrey Repository page on my web site I announced yesterday already that I will bring out a shelf.cfg for left handed people. Will take a couple of days, but I can do it for my images alone. However all who want to work together on any image are invited to make their hacks available there, infinity included, but I haven't heard much from anybody. I openly want to work together, but I can't work together alone.

Actually, I liked your shelf on the right side and am wondering if the windows 'start' could be on the right? I'm giving up on Left-handed scroll bars.

moving the start button to the right side is very easy, no new download or anything, you can keep what you have in shelf. here is what you need to do.
1. go into shelf config
2. scroll down to the bottom and remove taskbar, volume, and clock
3. go back up and highlight separator and hit add before, add clock, highlight clock hit after, add volume, highlight volume hit after add taskbar

you're done, a right handed start button.

shelf can be opened all the time if you check the open box. shelf works exactly the same way as windows you can set it to autohide or open. if you are having a hard time getting it to open, hit one of the bottom corners, you may need to calibrate your screen.

cool, I thought it was simple, but the last time I experimented, I hosed the shelf.

It's really great to have someone give step-by-step instructions for us newbies.
