Brand new Audry No OS (Demo unit)
Can I create a CF from my PC that will load a new image to the Audrey?

I was given an Audrey Ergo?(Ocean) and want to load some of these nice apps I find here. The unit has 3coms demo loop running and wont let me access the setup to get a terminal etc. I really need to flash a new OS/apps. I have a CF reader/writer and a 64 CF card ready and waiting. How do I prep the CF to be in the form Audrey wants from my XP box? Thanks

Droid

All I want to do is prove money can't make me happy....

I had the same problem. Couple of links on different ways. A search on this board and Audreyhacking.com is helpful.
Good luck!

hrmmmmm....it could potentially be interesting to have a copy of that image ... just by the chance that maybe it has a different IPL or something.

Oh well...

I have tried a CF 128 and am hvaing no luck. Since I cannot log into my Audrey I have to use my Win XP machine. So Gemxplor does not work I have resorted to the mkcf, ntrw methods. I tried writting a hugh file (bigger than 128meg) then reading it back to get the correct size. Then used that to mkcf the UpdatedPlusShell.cf then ntrw to my dazzle CF reader writer still getting invalid image....
1) Is 128 supported
2) If so, any ideas on getting correct size on a Win XP machine?
3) Is that even my problem?

Thanks
