can't you just rm your whole inbox in /data...
so you can just create a 2 line script, i.e call it removemail:
cd /data/mail/in
rm *
and you can also create a shelf item to run it.http://home.attbi.com/~kenzhao8/index.html

RE:Wanted: A way to delete all mail (modified 0 times)
OK-I did a chmod on it and put it in /nto/bin
it works from the prompt but not from the shelf
do I use "Launch App" or something else?
What else could i be doing wrong?

RE:Wanted: A way to delete all mail (modified 0 times)
the way it is won't work in shelf. to make it better, you have to do this:
1. ln -s /nto/bin/execv /kojak/removemail
2. vi /kojak/removemail.sh to look like this
cd /data/mail/in
rm *
3. chmod +x /kojak/removemail*
run using removemail in pterm or put /kojak/removemail in a shelf item.
This will work with original Audrey mail but with phMail chances are the app will stop working. phMail works with an index file and when the actual mail in inbox doesn't match the index file you may have a problem and phPostal could stop working.
