I downloaded a NTP time server (http://sourceforge.net/projects/nettime) and installed in on my W2K Server Box... I pointed /config/timeserver0 to the IP address of the box and it will not sync the time. I think it may have to do with Aud using the time port 37 instead of the daytime port 13...
Am I on track?

RE:Sync Time with Local W2K machine? (modified 0 times)
That wasn't it.. I ended up having to point all of the Timeserver entries Timeserver0,1,and 2 to my time server. After that it started working? I wonder why just changing Timeserver0 didn't work?

RE:Sync Time with Local W2K machine? (modified 0 times)
Stange behavior.... I changed Timeserver2 to point to my local computer, and reset Timeserver0 and 1 to point back to the normal sites and it still tried to go to the internet to get the time.... Only when I reset all Timeserver's to point to my local time server did it stop.... Does anyone have a clue as to why?

Audrey doesn't use NTP (port 123) to sync time, it uses the older unix timserver protocol (port 37). I know this because I had to open a hole for Audrey in my firewall.

RE:Sync Time with Local W2K machine? (modified 0 times)
I downloaded the freeware application "abouttime" from http://www.arachniod.com and used it to sync the time for my W2k box. This software also has a timeserver built in. I then edited Timeserver0,1,and 2 and pointed them to my W2k box.
