even though I have an ethernet adapter I primarily use audrey in a far away location in the house with no ethernet so use dialup. previously every time I needed to get a new file to the audrey I'd have to stretch a 30ft ethernet cable there or unplug it all and move it over to my switch. now I don't need to.
I simply email myself the file using uuencode to encode the file and then go into /data/email/in and uudecode the mail message with the file on it.

I'm not sure if it's easy to send files like this by uuencoding them and appending it to a message in sendLater
and since most of you folks are using ethernet it's no problem for you anyway (I envy your fast always on net connections!)
