I have not been able to get a Linksys USB10T ethernet adapter working on my Audrey using
the QNX Audrey Platform" with QNX USB Support V.1-1 image.
This same Audrey works perfectly with a 3Com 3C83510P adapter using this image.
I'm using a D-Link DI-704P router with DHCP enabled on my home network.
Here is the config for the router:
Internal Gateway = 192.168.0.1
IP Pool Range = 100-199
Subnet Mask = 255.255.248.0
DNS1 = 167.206.112.138
DNS2 = 167.206.112.3
I have tried the many combinations in networkUSB.sh. All have had the klsi line commented.
I tried leaving everything else in place and enabling this line to start:
/nto/bin/io-net -d pegasus -pttcpip -ppppmgr
When that didn't work I then commented the netmanager line,
enabled the regular ip stack (-ptcpip) and tried enabling the dhcp.
When that didn't work I commented dhcp then enabled ifconfig as follows:
/nto/bin/ifconfig en0 192.168.0.127
but that failed also.
All combinations result in the following:
I try to navigate to yahoo.com using Voyager and I get a DNS Failure error.
Trying to go to the router's ip, 192.168.0.1 returns a Connect Failure error.
I cannot ping the router either.
USB Detect correctly reports that the USB10T is connected.
I assume the Network Cfg option is only relevant when netmanager is enabled.
In any case, I have checked it with all the different config options and I can't
see the Devices tab whenever the 10-T is connected. The Devices tab will only appear
when the 3Com adapter is connected. I'm guessing this is the key to my problem.
I have always clicked the USB Connect option after changing the settings in networkUSB.sh.
I then choose Shutdown and powerdown the unit for several seconds before powering it back up
as per the instructions.
Any help or insight into this problem is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Dan D.
