I use internet connection sharing on a windows (XP) box to get out to the internet from Audrey. Thing is, windows likes to wait until X minutes of no activity have passed before hanging up. Wouldn't it be nice if someone new how to command a disconnect remotely? Windows itself has this feature for win->win, and linux does for linux->linux, but how do we do this from QNX to windows? If anyone knows just the bits that need to get sent, perhaps an "app" of some sort could be devised. Thoughts?

if your XP machine has the telnet service enabled, look at the executables under winnt\system32; i believe that one of them containing the text "ras" in its filename might help. 'fraid i can't give you a more specific filename right now.
