I'm running davinci27's version of Steven Grimm's excellent PhJuke application (huge thanks to Steven for his great original work, and to Davinci for the useful updates!). Davinci's version definitely solved my problem with stuttering MP3 playback. However, I am experiencing similar stuttering when playing Ogg Vorbis files thru PhJuke. This stuttering goes away when I launch ogg123 manually and use nice to bump-up the priority. I'm therefore assuming that Davinci's PhJuke isn't using renice to bump-up the thread priority for ogg123 like it is for madplay. Anyone know if this is true? If so, is there any easy way to coax PhJuke into using the same renice method for Ogg playback?
