Do you guys know if this will work before I invest the time and money?:

My parents have an unhacked (no shell) audrey with lots of info in the calendar/adress book.
If I buy a Palm pilot, sync the information, then flash the Audrey to Infinity's image for example, resync with the Palm pilot. Will this method "restore" the address book and calendar data?

I'm considering buying a Palm (cheap from ebay) to do this..any other alternatives you guys might recommend?
