I've recently discovered Audrey and am developing quite a crush. I've got several networked to my LAN and am taking advantage of everything I can. My problem is when I use her as a picture frame (usually through the screen saver but I have the same issue running it with shelf) and use the Blank in 600 (with Infinity's image) she keeps coming out of sleep mode.
Is there a way to run the picture frame application and have it go into sleep mode with the Blank in 600 (or anything else) and have it stay asleep? If I don't run the picture frame app, then she stays asleep just fine. I hope someone can help me with this, I love the picture frame, but don't want it to run all the time and want her to sleep after awhile.

Thanks.

Do you have Screen Saver activated in Control Panel? That is the way I have it set up and the Audrey's do go to sleep. My problem is that I can not get but one picture to show up. None of the others in the subdir (/pics) on my share will view. Just the first.

Thanks for replying. Yes I've got the Screen Saver set up in Control Panel. It comes on just as it should, cycles through pictures just fine (except some don't seem to show up), and then goes off with the Blank In 600 set in Control Panel as well. Then after a few minutes or so, she wakes up again. Then will cycle through some more pictures, go to sleep and wake up again, over and over.

Is anyone using the Screen Saver Picture Frame and Blank In 600 and having Audrey stay in sleep mode?

if you use ultimate1.1a or special1.1a, the screen saver runs only one instance of picframe so when audrey goes to sleep it will not reawake. if you run some of my old images the picframe screen saver did exactly what you are describing here. If you still have problems try davinci's iteration of pic saver. good luck

Hey Infinity, thanks for the reply.

I downloaded and am using your special1.1a image, directly from your site (I think, or from audreyhacking.com). Is there a way to tell which version I'm using?

I hate to wipe out all the mods I've done by applying a new image, is there a way to change something to fix it?

Thanks again.

Infinity, I have the same problem. In my case also if I do not run the Picture frame program, it won't go to sleep.
P.S at every reboot the control panel expands, how can I minimize it? Thanks.

I still can't get Audrey to stay asleep with Picture Frame running.
I've even downloaded InfinitySpecial1.1a again directly from Infinity's site to CF, made no changes at all except to mount my share, and still she won't stay asleep with Pictue Frame running. She stays asleep just fine if Picture Frame is not running.

Does anyone have any suggestions at all to keep her asleep?

Still no luck keeping Audrey asleep with RandomPic running.
I did however find an Infinity image that seems to work fine, it's unfortunately an Ultimate image and because of some family members fear of all things electronic, the browser in special (the original Audrey browser) is the one I use. So my problem now is how do I get the original browser back to this Ultimate image?
Or, what files to I need to replace in the special image to completely replace everything related to RandomPic with the known good ones in the Ultimate image?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
