Does anyone have a working power supply they'd like to sell? Or know where to get one, or even how to make one???

Thanks,

Audreyx3

Have you found a power supply? or figured out how to make one. I got and Audrey for X-mas and she didn't come with one, so i'm looking also... http://www.audreyupgrade.com has some, but they want $50.. I think that is WAY too much.

No, I haven't found any spare power supplies yet. A few people have indicated that they COULD make one, but I haven't found anyone yet who has.

The plug is the same one used on Apple printers, if that helps.

I have since found a few power supplies on eBay, other Audrey sites, etc. However, no one still has ever responded that they actually put together a working replacement made from scratch...

Hunter 112, I haven't seen you posting much in a while! It's funny you mentioned the printer cable. I bought a Mac 6' 8 pin mini DIN print cable extension. I wanted to be able to extend the power supply cord another 6', so this seemed like a logical way to do it.

Plugged it in, and the 3Com screen comes up for a second, then blackness.

I've checked to make sure I've got tight connections, but no dice. The printer cable is a lighter guage wire than the Audrey power supply, so maybe that's it.

Using a Mac printer cable and the Pinouts shown I successfully modified a mini-ATX powersupply to fire my Audrey. The only problem I had was I had to add a couple of Hard drives on the powersupply because the Aud does not draw enough current to make the powersupply come up...
