I'm using InfinityUltimate 1.1, and every time I power up my Audrey it refuses to get the date and time from the internet. So every time I reset I need to manually set the date and time from the 'fallback' screen.

The trouble is that setitime consistently fails, and I don't know the syntax of setitime to troubleshoot the issue.

Could someone please provide some pointers on how setitime works, or why the
"getting time from the internet" fails at startup?

Try editing the file Timeserver0 in /config to read time.nist.gov - the time server listed in the image does not seem to be there anymore. You can also update Timesever1-3 as well if you have other NTP servers you konw are good.

Thanks, that totally fixed it.

I had seen those files and had tried editing them before, but I must have picked time servers that were defunct.

I'm still at a loss for how to use setitime, as it still appears to hang when invoked via the terminal


Nonetheless, everything is working great now.

I too am having the same time / date auto update problem, however, I am a bit of a novice when it comes to hacking the Audrey......... could someone explain in detail the step by step process necessary to edit the file Timeserver0 in /config so it will read time.nist.gov ???
