Has anyone ever successfully used qtools to change the PID etc on a real 3com 3c19250. I have one and attempted to change them but it just hangs. I also have several 3c19250's that have their PID changed to an OEM number, but they are exactly the same otherwise and macparse reads the eeprom just fine. It just will not write any changes to it. It will just hang when a write or update is attempted and the exact same thing occurs if I try to write to the real real 3c19250. Any information would be appreciated, thanks.
I also have just gotten a 'Cais' version of the adapter; (ID=0565/001F).
No dice using qttools under Windows 2000. It reads correctly but seriously hangs when trying to write anything back.
Please post info if you figure it out...

I used the technique listed here http://delsarto.tripod.com/audrey/ to flash it with the linksys.bin file and it worked great. As a matter of fact I had a CAIS device that was of the same chipset that I couldn't get the Macparse to work with. It worked on it as well. So now I have two connectors...
