it's been a while since i looked inside the QNX operating system facilities, but i seem to recall something similar, essentially the built-in message passing capability of the o.s. if you network together several QNX nodes, you can pass IPC-style messages among them almost transparently. since much of the QNX code is available from their web site, you might be able to find specs for the protocol, and find either a *NIX or Win32 utility that can be adapted.

sorry i can't just say, 'Try THIS', but i'm at work right now, and haven't researched QNX in many months . . .

good luck!!

Not compatible, but with HTTP, you can make a request to the built in HTTP server, which should be enough to launch just about anything on the Audrey.

Try: http://www.linux-hacker.net/cgi-bin/UltraBoard/UltraBoard.pl?Action=ShowPost&Board=3Com_Audrey&Post=88&Idle=0&Sort=0&Order=Descend&Page=0

Good luck,
