any success sync'ing with OS5? (modified 0 times) chucken Profile Hey, I just picked up an audrey and I'm anxious to start playing with it. I picked up a serial sync cable, and one of the first things I tried was sync'ing with my Tungsten T. It finished abnormally fast - like 5 seconds. My palm log says everything sync'ed, my audrey showed the normal sync screen - but the calendar's still blank. I already checked the more obvious problems - I am looking at the correct datebook, etc. So before I start trying to debug all of this, I'm wondering whether anyone else has sync'ed an OS5 device. Is there someplace I can get more detailed logging or better visability into what's happening in the sync process? thanks 07-16-2003 22:38:41

(modified 0 times) sibongil Profile I too just upgraded from my Visor Edge with Palm OS 3.5.1 to a Palm Zire 71 with OS 5.2.1 No luck on syncing yet - my audrey doesn't even respond to the Hotsync request. I'm wondering if it is a serial vs. USB problem? My Visor used USB and it always worked... but is OS 5 different? 07-17-2003 08:42:19

Palm OS5 and Audrey do play well together. (modified 0 times) sibongil Profile I purchased a palm Zire 71 running os 5.2.1 a few months back. The Zire and most new palms come with USB cradles. I figured because my Handspring Visor Edge (running os 3.5) would sync with Audrey, then Zire should also. No Luck. However, I purchased a serial cable and now all is well. I did have to remove a few odd entries in my address and date book, but now everything is back to normal. 09-25-2003 13:41:02
