Why can't I get rid of "Backdrop" and "Notifications" in my task bar

I just purchased an Audrey w/ Infinitey Ultimate 1.1s already loaded onto the unit. Currently I am only testing out the machine and it is not connected to the internet or any network. Is the unit supposed to have "Backdrop" and "Notifications" in the task bar? How do I get rid of those two items or how do I turn it off. Everything seems to open except the "PicSaver". Did I mess anything up? I haven't a clue?

leave those two running, if you stop backdrop, the desktop background will dissapear; when i stopped notification, at least the browser didn't work.
