key combo list
are these hard-wired, or can they change?

Here's a list of all the multi-key combinations that I've seen that have an effect on the Audrey:

IN BROWSER
shift-snapshot:
change text size on web page
shift-Up Arrow:
Page Up
shift-Down Arrow:
Page Down
shift-Back Space:
Back
shift-enter:
Reload

WHILE AUDREY IS ON:
mail-options-web:
check for update
mail-option-calendar:
calibrate touchscreen

WHILE PLUGGING-IN:
w/ datebook:
load from CompactFlash
(uses original configuration NOT the card, but proves card is OK)
w/ address:
debug mode (null modem cable-hyperterminal: 8n1,57600)
w/ power:
boots current version into RAM, no CF card required
(flashing screen, like reboot w/ datebook)
w/ datebook & power:
initiate read/write sequence to re-flash audrey

Are there any others?

Also, is it possible to change them? I personally don't want to alter their function (more on that here and here), but somehow I appear to have lost my ability to re-flash Audrey. Right now my reboot with datebook & power acts just like reboot with datebook. I imagine that these start-up keys must be hard wired, but if that's the case, why doesn't this work any more?

Another key combo:

WHILE PLUGGING IN
mail-datebook
force serial-port upgrade (has anyone ever used this?)

also, after much gnashing of teeth, I've figured out the re-flashing problem described in the last post: It appears that, at least for me, the "auto-mounting of windows directories" procedure listed on Robert's MP3 page (2nd half of step) hampers the reflashing process. I suspect that changing "sh boot.sh" to "sh boot.sh &" is the culprit. Anyway, when I undid/commented out the chages to kojak/boot.sh and kojak/go, everything was cool again.

Has anyone else utilized Robert's MP3 hack and experienced a re-flashing problem? I wanted to ask Robert himself, but I can't find his email.

As a side note, there is one thing that still completely baffles me. It seems to me that with an error like this, it should either prevent re-flashing or it shouldn't. However, there was one circumstance when I could re-flash: If I ran "devb-cf", and then "cat fs0p0 fs0p1 > /dev/cf", and then right away shutdown and plugged-in with datebook-power, it would re-flash my current version properly. But in every other situation the datebook-power reboot only "Loaded from CompactFlash." Bizarre.
