I had the same problem when I setup audrey using SBC yahoo DSL. I found a service that allows you to use their servers to send e-mail. The web site is www.smtp.com\. The fee for this service is $49.00 for the year and allows you to send 50 e-mails per day. I have been using the service for months and it works great. Hope this information helps and pass it on to other users with this same problem.

Actually, I would suggest setting up a free webmail account and blow off the builtin mail app entirely. With webmail, you'll at least be able to view a decent amount of attached pictures and whatnot without filling up your poor little audrey's limited space. The downside is that you wont have the nice little visual alert (LED) for new mail.

I run my own email server -- including openwebmail. It works great and was fairly simple to set up and adapts to ssl easily if you want that. Theoretically, you could also mod the html of the openwebmail client to force the LED to turn on with new mail (it automatically refreshes every 15 mins).

Thanks jpar15 for your suggestion.
I don't have the experience to run an email server and I was looking at a solution for my Audrey with my SBC DSL account.
I find smtp.com a very good solution.
Thanks again.

Just wanted to let everybody know that smtp.com modified their prices so you might want to do the changes that might give you the best deal for the money.
