Using Audrey to listen to internet radio

I use my bed-side Audrey almost exclusively as an internet radio. It is running the Audrey Upgrade software load, and I find I get best results when using the stand-alone Real Player application. However, it is not without problems. For example, the stream dies after a given time and I usually have to reboot the machine.

I wonder if readers of this board might have suggestions about optimizing the Audrey for listening to internet radio. Has anyone succeeded in adding features such as a shut-off timer or alarm clock that triggers the radio?

I will soon post a brief list of the radio stations that I regularly access.

Thanks.

Here are a few links:

Wisconsin Public Radio, http://www.wpr.org/ideas-live_v5.ram
Radio New Zealand, http://www.audionet.co.nz/ranzlive.ram
Radio Australia, http://www.abc.net.au/streaming/ra.ram
Radio Canada International, http://www.rcinet.ca/realaudio/live/live_en.ram
CBC Radio Montreal, http://montreal.cbc.ca/media/radiostream/885live.ram
BBC World Service, http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/ram/live_news.ram

Some of these links work from Audrey's browser (it launches the Real Player helper app). Some of them run only from the stand-alone Real Player for QNX. Also, it seems that broadcasters must provide streams that are compatible with older versions of Real Player (specifically G2) to be usable by Audrey. The WPR link above, for example, is for "v5" and I had to dig deeper into the WPR site to find it.

There are several web sites that serve as indexes for internet radio streaming. http://www.radio-list.com/Directory/Arts/Radio/Internet/ comes to mind.

I would be happy to hear about other links that provide functioning live radio streams that Audrey can handle.
