Is this audrey dead?

Ok, plugged my audrey in one day, and it got stuck on the 3Com screen. Here's what the serial readout gave me.

---

Scanning for Image at FF000000
Image at: FF000414
Image setup
Starting image
Unable to start "/nto/bin/io-net" (2)
Unable to access "/dev/socket" (2)
Unable to access "/dev/photon" (2)

---

So, I'm guessing the image on the eeprom is fried. I'm trying to reflash using CF cards, but it give invalid image on every single card I put in it, even though I've made sure all my magic numbers are correct (both by checking through the serial readout on the audrey and reading other people's reports on the net). Would yanking the eeprom and throwing it on a writer work, or is something else possible blown?

Get a known good CF image. Borrow one, or they're available at http://AudreyUpgrade.com for purchase.

Once you have an known good image on CF, flash your Audrey. You'll likely be surprised that you Audrey will work just fine after that.

Good luck.
