Cannot Use USB10T
USB Ethernet Problem with USB10T

I bought 3 (!) Linksys USB10T adapters to try with my Audrey. I am using WinXP SP1 and all the latest patches.

Per the instructions I found here and elsewhere on the web, I downloaded qtools.zip, modified the .inf file with " %String29%=QTProg,USB\VID_066b&PID_2202", plugged the device into a USB port, and directed Windows to use the qtools directory, I got the message "this does not contain information about your hardware". This happened with all 3 devices.

I was able to get Windows to at least acknowledge one of the USB10T devices using the latest XP drivers, but then the macparse.exe app does not work.

How can I get this to work? Or should I try another make/model of USB-ethernet adapter?

Thanks.

Flashing these adapters is often not an easy task. Your time and energy may be better spent just purchasing an already compatible USB/Ethernet adapter. 3Com models 3C19250, 3C83510P-01, and 3C460A work out of the box with Audrey.
