I've read where others have gotten the Netgear EA101 to work with Audrey, but I've not been successful following the directions to a "T"
I've downloaded qttools.
I then edited the qtprog.inf file and added %String30%=QTProg,USB\VID_0506&PID_03e8
I then saved the file, plugged in the EA101 and windows installed the driver for it.
I went into system manager and "updated" the driver to the one in the qttools folder and rebooted the computer.
I ran macparse.exe
I clicked read eeprom -> it showed the Netgear info
I made sure both "Allow change mfg info" and "Keep new VID / PID" were checked
I changed the MAC address to my adapter
I changed the VID to 0506
I changed the PID to 03e8
I changed Manufacturer to Netgear
I changed the Product to Modified Netgear
I clicked update -> wait a few seconds until it says done
I clicked read eeprom to make sure it updated the new info, but it always came back with VID and PID as 0000 and 0000. (I did see once where it was stuck on 0030 and 0030)
The only thing that looked like an error was "Could not read I2C"
I changed the MAC address and it appears that took, as it showed up in the display on the left side of macparse as changed, but the write or update didn't appear to work.
Am I doing something wrong?
