Inifity Images
Anyone have any of the old images saved?

I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the old Infinity's Ultimate 1.1S image. It looks like it is no longer on the site it used to be at. Many of the helpful Audrey sites are down. Please let me know if you have a copy. Thanks!

Any luck finding that image? I just followed the link to no avail. Just bought a brand new Audrey from a computer show and would love to use it.

I have copies of a couple images. I could try to post them on my website later this week.

That would be outfriggin'standing. This beauty is brand new and I'd love to use it. The Infinity image looks to be just what I need.

By the way, Profmuggs, I've been checking out your site (I assume it's yours) and love it. You've got yourself a new regular.

Thanks!!!

Ok, I put the Infinity images that I have up on my website. I only have the Ultimate S & A images. If anyone has the Special image and would like me to host that as well, contact me through my site.

Also, I found the cfutils.zip on this page http://www.openqnx.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t8386-.html

And the internet archive sometimes works to pull up any of these pages that have been taken down. Unfortunately, they don't host the files as well, only the pages themselves. http://www.archive.org/index.php

Enjoy!

Let me say again, thank you so much. Very nice image. I have to admit, I've learned a lot over the past few hours. Namely, you cannot create a viable flash using Vista 64.

I went through it time and again last night and finally got it right. I can't get the Audrey to see network shares, but I'm working on it.

Thanks again!

This FAQ is very useful for configuring the network shares.

Also, I have been thinking of posting a PHP script of a basic Kitchen CMS that I wrote. It works well with XAMP or XAMPP and it is self installing. Let me know if you would be intested.

That sounds a bit over my head. I'm more of a hardware guy. Anything I know about Linux, QNX, or programming is only because of necessity and is very minimal.

Care to elaborate on it? I'll try just about anything once. Are we talking about Content Mangement (CMS?) on the Audrey?

Yes its a content management system that would run on another computer on the network. You would direct your Audrey's browser to the other computer. XAMPP is a simplified install package for MySQL, Apache, and PHP. The CMS uses MySQL and PHP so XAMPP is the easiest way to install it, but it should work with other configurations. http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html

The script is a recipe and address organizer for an Audrey in your kitchen. I wrote it as a PHP script so that is would be accessible from any computer on the network so that you could modify with something easier than the Audrey. I have been looking at it again and I think the current version is pretty much finished.

Think it'll run ok on Server 2K3 without interfering with IIS? Or would IIS have to be disabled. I'm not even sure if it supports PHP.

Speaking of 2K3 and Active Directory, has anyone gotten an Audrey to successfully connect to a share on a Domain Controller? I can only get it to see shares from XP boxes.

I have gotten mine to connect with plain Windows sharing using the local profile, I don't know about using Active Directory. You could try an NFS share if that doesn't work.

For active directory and a domain controller, you may have to impose the legacy domain or mixed mode rather than native mode or guests will not normally be allowed access to file shares.

As already suggested, NFS might work best on a domain controller for such a smallish linux based device to connect.
