Hi,
I have a stock Audrey without shell access and I have spent the last 48 hours trying to make the CF card various images and still keep getting the fatal image error message.
I admit that I do not have a pukka sandisk 32mb card but I have tried the following without success;
Generic 32mb
Sandisk 64mb
Integral 256mb
IBM 1gb CFII
Noticeably all except the Sandisk took about 10 seconds to display the error where as the Sandisk went from power on with the datebook button pressed to the fatal error almost immediately.
I have tried both ntrw and disk checker to get the disk sizes and ntrw and diskprobe to write the images on both an XP machine and Vista machine with three different card writers but nothing appears to work.
I'm at a loss now and would appreciate any assistance. Alternatively if anyone is UK based with a working flash card I'll happily buy or rent it to get the thing flashed.
