There is no way (well, easily) to change the behavior. The behavior is like this:

- Email IS left on the server upon download.
- An email IS deleted off the server if you delete it off Audrey's inbox.

Basically, it is kind of 50% "leave on server". That is, assuming your server is not configured to delete automatically upon download (that is kinda rare, but I have seen it).

What I "suggest" (it is kind of kludgey) is if you have the ability to configure you mailbox to forward a copy to another address, send it to another pop box (works well with a Yahoo POP account). Have Audrey check that second box. This is what I do and it works good enough.

It is really too bad Audrey does not have IMAP, as that would be the ultimate solution. There really was not much of a good way to handle multi-access with POP, and almost zero nationside ISPs support IMAP. I guess it would have been nice to have a checkbox for not deleting off the server even if it is deleted off of Audrey, but that did not happen.

What happens if the Audrey still contains messages that another computer has retrieved and deleted. When the Audrey goes to delete the messages stored locally and on the server, does the Audrey verify the ID of the message on the server? I'd hate for it to delete messages which had not been stored anywhere yet.
