Working with Audreys LCD panel! (modified 0 times) Scozza Profile | Email I'm keen to wall mount my LCD & put the guts of Audrey in a box above the ceiling. To do this I'll need to extend the buttons & speakers (which looks pretty easy) and also to extend the flat connection cable to the LCD. I know we have some electronics boffins on the list so perhaps someone could give me a few pointers in the max length of cable run I could do and how to extend the LCD cabling using screened or co-ax. Just cut a tailored hole in the drywall and silicon cement the unit in once you have the connections in place. You're not the first person to ask me that question (-; It seems to be a good way to use the technology if you don't want audrey as a free standing unit! reason I wanted to use a cover plate is so I can remove audrey if need be. The rest could then be housed in a polycarbonate electrical enclosure up above the ceiling.
