Midori Issue, and ethernet

So, after much struggling over the weekend I successfully got Midori v3 on a Blue Clipper, however the mouse cursor in the GUI is corrupted, making it very difficult to navigate... am I the only one having this issue? The rest of the functions seem to work just fine.

Also, I see a lot of USB ethernet discussion here, am I to assume that the internal ethernet device does not work with Midori or any other linux distribution that will work and we have to use a USB device instead?
