Hi....
Having problems with my Linksys EC2T and wondered if any guru's on here had any bright ideas.... The Epods is hacked to v2.04 and works fine (i.e. syncing with the pc etc.). The Linksys EC2T works fine in my laptop connected to my 10/100 hub. BUT when I put the EC2T into the Epods, nothing except the green link light and a very occasional flash of the Act light. I can't web browse and I can't even get to a web site by entering its ip address directly.

If I try DHCP I just get a msg saying it can't find the DHCP server, if I enter the ip details manually and use the ping tool to try and ping one of my other systems connected to the hub, I just get time-outs. I am using the default NE2000 driver but have also tried installing the Linksys EC2T driver for WinCE from their web site but still no luck! What drivers has everyone else had success using?

Any ideas? Is there something else that I should be doing to get a network card working in the Epods.
Have looked back at old threads to see if anyone else has had the same symptoms or to try and get some ideas, but I didn't find anything.
Help and suggestions please!

or search for "No Link Lite on EC2T" (currently on page 2) for some peoples solution (of course i am assuming your dongle link lite is out also), personally i am waiting for a replacement dongle to see if it may be an issue.

After paying attention to your message I see u do have link lite, so u are talking. Out side of making sure the epods is allowed if u are using a firewall or security, and double checking your network settings, i am afraid i can be of little help.

I am beginning to suspect that the problem is something to do with the hub connectivity, even though the card works fine in a laptop, the pod seems to have trouble pinging any ip address of other boxes connected to the hub (Which is a Netgear DS309).

Has anyone else had problems connecting the Linksys card to a dual speed 10/100 hub? I am going out today to buy a 4 port 10Mbit... it is my last hope!

I don't hold out much hope for wireless when I can't even get wired working! :)

Well the 4-port 10Mbit hub seems to have sorted it, but I can only talk to other computers directly connected to the 10Mbit hub. I have used the uplink port and connected it to my 10/100 hub but the 'pod' can't see any ip adresses of systems connected to the 10/100 hub, BUT other computers connected to the 10Mbit hub can.

Is this normal? Am I going mad?! Will my whole network have to run at 10Mbit or is anyone else successfully co-existing with 100Mbit devices?
