Are you sure it is locked or is it just EXTREMELY slow responding.

I have had a couple lock-ups, but nothing to serious. Assuming you aren't running your epods in excruciating heat or the like, it is probably just a case of running too much stuff at the same time which is more or less guaranteed to bring any version of windows to its knees. These aren't exactly designed for multitasking (I was impressed that I could listen to mp3's and take notes simultaneously), so I'd be happy with what you have. I doubt you're doing terribly critical work on the little machine and it only takes a second or two to soft reset anyway. I suppose it could be a hardware error, but good luck finding a replacement unit :)

I was experiencing similar problems- but it was always pjava that would make it hang. I allocated more RAM for running programs, and it went away- the previous poster's probably right on... Maybe time for you to invest in a big CF card...
