Has anyone tried looking at a japanese/korean web sites with epods?
I'm wondering if there are some fonts or software you can download in order to see double-byte languages correctly.
I ran into this with pre 5.0 versions of IE. You need to download a Japanese font such as msgincho. Then, change your browser to allow japanese auto-jis (aka auto-detect) for encoding. Then add the msgincho font.
The "mincho" TTF has two kana variations though I haven't tried them both. One is MS Mincho. The other is MS Gothic. Note that Mincho is 3.3MB and Gothic is 4MB in size. Well, at least they weren't 16.00001 MB in size (weak joke). You can download them from various sites. One place I have just found is http://www.wafu.ne.jp/3dlogo/fonts/ and it has a few other interesting fonts as well.
How do you go about installing these fonts on an ePod? Any recommendations?
