SMC Wireless card not recognised

I posted this earlier, but I'll give it it's own topic :

I have an epods as below. I've installed the generic Prism drivers onto the Storage Card. I put the card in, it warns me about putting it in while on battery, the LED flashes orange once, and that's it. It doesn't ask me what driver to use, or anything. I have moved the Prism .cpl out of the Windows directory.

It sounds a bit like the problem some people are having with the Linksys cards. Any ideas, please?

Search for threads about deleting a reference to the SMC in the registry.

Thanks, that did it.

I did do a lot of searching before posting, but nothing turned up - maybe I was using the wrong terms. Any chance of Randy's page being updated to show this information?
