Problem with Lucent/Orinoco/Wavelan Wireless networking and disapearing driver

New MessageProblem with Lucent/Orinoco/Wavelan Wireless networking and disapearing driver (modified 0 times) Dano
I have an epod with the easy shell hack. I can install the wireless driver for the Wavelan Silver card and using battery power, surf the web and make terminal services connections just fine for about two hours. I can suspend and resume the epod and the network card connects right back up. However if I leave the system alone and switched off (with the battery at about 60% charged) for more than an hour (even if it is plugged into the mains) when I start it back up it refuses to go back online. The client connection manager says NO DRIVER PRESENT, but it's definitely still there in the networking setup.

The only way I have to cure this is a HARD RESET, which is a pain, because it reverts to the epod shell and takes about an hour to reconfigure. Is anyone else seeing this? Would adding more memory help? Should I use the other shell?

Any help appreciated....

Thanks, Dan

P.S. Anyone know how to change the Terminal Services Client from port 3389 - I need to do this to get round a firewall. In regular windows, you export the config file in the client connection manager, open it with notepad and change the port setting, any idea where CE's hide the details - Thanks.
