I picked 6 i-openers before they were all gone from circuit city, and have successfully hacked a few of them, but the other four are pretty much just sitting in their boxes still - i have plans for them, just no time right now. I'm intrigured by this epods thing, but can't seem to find one anywhere - anyone willing to do an even swap? email /sai1138@yahoo.com - thanks.

An iopener costs $99 and is not touch screen...and epod costs $199 and is touch screen...how do you figure this to be an even swap?

I would go so far as to say that you couldn't find an ePods for $199 anymore -- they're going on eBay for anywhere from $250 to $350, and Salton wants $499 for them. Although technically you can do more with the i-opener, the ePods are much more portable, and as the above mentioned, has a touch screen. You can add a touch screen to the i-opener for another $150 and probably $500 worth of time (depending on what your hourly rate is, of course)

2 for 1 !?!? One could interpret your original post as an offer of 4 for 1 <g>. I was pretty sure that wasn't what you meant. Actually, 2 for 1 is a pretty fair deal. I would take you up on the offer except I have 5 i-Openers that I'm not using.

What HW level are the IOpeners? If they are the later versions that allow for simple upgrade to a K63 processor I might be interested.
