Definitely, make sure the hack works first before you try to get TS working.
Once you do, the next thing you'll discover is that even though you put in a login name and password into the wizard, when you double click the shortcut that it (really!) will place on the desktop, you'll still be forced to log in to the server manually (a dialog will come up). This is the way TS works, and there doesn't seem to be any way around it.
Finally, it is likely that your normal Admin account on your w2k server is set up for a higher resolution than VGA. My recommendation is for you to create a new user account on the w2k machine (make it part of the admin group or it won't work with TS!) specifically for your pod. That way, you can set up the destktop scheme in a way that looks best for the pod. Oh, and one last suggestion, if you can cope with the huge breach of security, make that account have an empty password. That way, when the login dialog comes up on the pod, you just hit OK and you are in. I don't think there is any way to make the account only useable via TS (this would help with security), but you can tell TS to only accept connections over your wireless NIC.
hope this helps!
