Hi all, I'm quite new here. Just got my ePods, and I'm in the process of hacking it.
I've copied the proper dll and exe files to their respective directories, and installed Activesync 3.1 on my laptop (both under Win2K and WinME). With both, when I launch the PC Link.lnk - my laptop sees the connection and starts negotiating using the IR link.
This takes a while, and about 60 seconds later it says connected (I have not been asked to establish a partnership btw).
The activesync says Guest in the program window, and everything looks like I'm connected.
But....
When trying to backup/restore the device, I just get a "Disk full" (and I've got tons of space avail on my laptop disk).
Also, when opening the device folder, I can't see any files, and if I try to create a file or folder, or copy one - I get disconnected.
Any ideas?
I hoped I could do this IR way, but I'm not sure if trying serial or USB solves my problem?
Also, I have an Aironet 352 wireless card that I want to use. Cisco provides a driver, but no install instructions..
The driver package does not have an installer, but consists of several exe files (mips exe's), one dll file and a load of html files - apparently for help and config.
Thanks in advance!
