ZoneAlarm with Epods in Wireless Network?
Can't make this work - help.

New MessageZoneAlarm with Epods in Wireless Network? (modified 0 times) busdepot
Epods with Proxim Symphony card, ac-hoc mode, communicating peer-to-peer to a Win98 PC with a PCI Symphony card installed. Nortel modem hooked up to another network card in the PC, communicating via WinPoET (PPPOE). Sygate software for internet connection sharing.

Works fine. But... my ZoneAlarm software has to be set with internet security to "medium" (no stealth mode) for my epods to communicate with my pc. This is even though local security is set to minimum. Is anyone successfully using a similar configuration but with ZoneAlarm internet security set to High? If so, how do you have your ZoneAlarm settings configured? ZoneAlarm tech support and website haven't been much help; it looks like I'm doing everthing "right" but it still isn't working.

Failing that, any opinions on how important "stealth" mode is? (It keeps other computers on the internet from seeing my computer at all; without stealth mode they could see it but still could not intrude.)
