Where are the regulars?

New MessageWhere are the regulars? (modified 0 times) Billings
The posts from the regulars Groch, Randy, SiliconIce, et. al has been slim to non existent. Are you guys still reading the boards?

Billings: I'm still here. I still read the board mornings & evenings. I just don't have that much to say (maybe it has all been said <g>). The topics on the board have mostly been stuff that was covered a few months back. I'm sure if/when "new" topics arise the "regulars" will appear from out of the woodwork .

Seems that the mad activity has died down, now we need to wait and see what uses people actually put the ePod to.

Haha, true true. No more eBay "Catch The Epods Fever" -- someone should have saved that auction that was funny.

People were attracted to the ePod because of the price and the spec.

It's only when you run the ePod with Terminal services do you really "unlock the power of the 'pod!"

I agree that TS makes surfing a lot more fun, but my main uses are PWord for taking notes in meetings (although it is hard to because so many people want to know what/where/how much about it) Primer for .pdf files PocketStreets (life saver) and some games (I have become a Monopoly junkie recently.)

The only time I really network with the little guy is when I update my Avantgo data. But that is my usage model and YMMV.

I'm here too.

Ney, NITF, would you kindly touch base with me in email? Long story, but I'd appreciate a quick word that way.

I think most people are into 'use their pod' mode. I know I am :). I've got wireless hooked up and working home and work, and am using TS. I'm also playing with some Java stuff on it and the TS box. I've done the ePods32 mod, though I find it likes to hang more often now, so i'm doing soft resets, but hey, that's life. I'm still hoping to find a calandar app. I'll write/port one one of these days in all my spare time.

I love my e-pod! I surf around here often but don’t post because like glitch says most are already been discussed. Just a matter of using the search button.
I have a 1Gb micro drive and I stuffed all my text book and notes on to it! From 25LB to 2.2LB!! Talk about slim fast. So what if it’s a little slow? If I need speed I just pop the micro drive out and stick it in my Cassiopeia. The thing I love about the e-pod is the large screen. Somewhere to 4x larger than my casio
